I never knew this one sentence from my mom would completely change my life AND my career path. 

It was just something she said on the phone one Sunday, completely out of nowhere.

She laughed and mentioned that she always wanted to write a book about her younger years.

That’s when I realized something shocking:

After a few weeks, she started telling her friends about our little habit.

When she told me about their reaction, I was stunned.
